Roof Leak & Storm Damage Response in South Florida

We find where the water is getting in, stop it the same day wherever we can, and give you the record your claim needs.

Or text us a photo of the damage — we can size the job from the picture.

What we do — and what we do not

We stop the water. We are straight about the rest.

When you call us about a leak, here is what happens: we come out at no charge, get on the roof, and find where the water is actually getting in. It is almost never directly above the stain on your ceiling — water runs along the deck and down rafters before it shows itself inside.

Then we cover it. Same day wherever we can, with an emergency tarp if you need hours, or with roof shrink wrap if the real repair is weeks or months out. You get dated photographs and a written scope of what we did, in a form your adjuster can use.

What we do not do is pretend to be your roofer. Permanent roof repair in Florida is licensed work. Our job is emergency mitigation and temporary protection — the part that has to happen tonight. If what you need is a new roof or a permanent repair, we will say so plainly and keep the weather out until somebody licensed can do it properly.

That is not us being modest about the work. It is the difference between a company that tells you the truth on the phone and one that finds out later.

What you are looking at

Six things that mean water is getting in

A stain spreading on the ceiling

Water has been in the structure for a while. The stain is downhill from the entry point, not under it.

Drips only during heavy rain

Usually a flashing, valley or penetration that only fails under volume. Easy to miss, easy to underestimate.

Missing tiles or shingles

The covering is gone and the underlayment is now doing a job it was never meant to do alone.

Wind-lifted edges

Once an edge is up, the next gust gets underneath it. This is the failure that turns into a whole slope.

Debris impact

A branch or panel went through. Even a small puncture puts water straight onto the deck.

Soft or sagging deck

Water has been getting in long enough to reach the sheathing. Cover it now, then get it looked at properly.

Your options

Cover it for weeks, or cover it for a season

Once we have found the leak there are two honest answers, and which one is right depends entirely on when your repair is actually happening.

An emergency tarp is the right call when you need cover in the next few hours and the repair is already on somebody's calendar. Thirty to ninety days of protection, fast and cost-effective.

Roof shrink wrap is the right call when the repair is weeks out, when you are heading into hurricane season, or when you do not want to pay someone to do this again in sixty days. Heat-welded watertight, six to twelve months.

Our process

How a leak call goes

  1. Call or text us

Send a photo of the damage if you can. We can size most jobs from the picture and give you a number on the phone.

  2. Free on-site assessment

We come out, get on the roof, and tell you exactly what it needs — shrink wrap, a tarp, or a repair. No charge, no obligation.

  3. Same-day protection installed

Our crew installs the protection the same day wherever we can. Water stops getting in before it costs you a ceiling.

  4. Documentation for your claim

Before-and-after photos, a written scope, and dated records your adjuster can use — so the mitigation you paid for is on the file.

Questions

Leaks and storm damage — questions we get

Can you repair my roof, or only cover it?

What we do is emergency mitigation and temporary protection — stopping the water now, with a tarp or with shrink wrap, and documenting the damage for your claim. Permanent roof repair in Florida is licensed work. If that is what you need, we will tell you so straight and get you covered in the meantime so nothing gets worse while you line up a roofer.

So what happens when I call about a leak?

We come out free of charge, get on the roof, and find where the water is actually getting in. Then we tell you exactly what the roof needs and cover it the same day wherever we can. You get dated photographs and a written scope of the mitigation for your insurer.

Why not just wait for the roofer?

Because the damage keeps spreading while you wait, and your policy almost certainly expects you to prevent that. A week of unchecked water turns a roof problem into a drywall, insulation, flooring and mould problem. Cover first, repair second.

How long can the temporary protection stay on?

A tarp gives you thirty to ninety days. Shrink wrap gives you six to twelve months. If your repair is weeks out — and after a storm it usually is — the wrap is the cheaper of the two decisions.

Will my insurance pay for the mitigation?

Florida policies generally put a duty on you to prevent further damage after a covered loss, and temporary protection is normally part of meeting it. We give you dated before-and-after photographs, a written scope and an itemised invoice to submit. Confirm the specifics with your own adjuster.

Do you find the leak, or do I need someone else for that?

We find it. The entry point is almost never directly above the stain on your ceiling — water runs along the deck and down rafters before it shows. We trace it up-slope and show you what we found before we cover anything.

After a landfall

Key West to Tallahassee

Day to day we work Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. That is what one crew can cover properly, and covering it properly is the point.

A named storm is different. After Hurricane Ian in 2022 there were not enough hands in the state to go around, and we ran from Key West to Tallahassee covering roofs for people who were told to wait weeks.

If a storm has opened your roof and you are somewhere else in Florida, call anyway. We will tell you straight whether we can get to you — and if we cannot, we will say so instead of booking you and leaving you open.
